have lived and worked my whole life in Indianapolis, and I am extremely proud to be a Hoosier. I care very deeply about my community and the people that live in it.I have spent my entire legal career representing individuals who have been injured and families who have lost a loved one, and I purposefully chose this area of law because it affords me the opportunity and the privilege to make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of people from all walks of life. I am deeply fulfilled when I am able to help make life a bit better for someone who is in serious need.
I have been married to my incredible wife, Megan, for more than 20 years and we have been blessed with four fabulous children – two girls and two boys. Like most parents, my life consists largely of working and chasing kids from one activity to the next – I must say, I thoroughly enjoy nearly every moment of it.
In addition to focusing on my family, I think it is really important to be fully engaged in my community. I served on the Board of Trustees at The Orchard School for six years, and as Chair for two years. I have been very involved with the Orchard in Bloom garden show, which benefits Holliday Park, and have served as its Chair. I have served as a Board Member of the Indianapolis Racers Travel Hockey Association, and I regularly provide financial support to youth hockey in Indianapolis. I also financially support and coach youth basketball at First Baptist and baseball at Broad Ripple Haverford Little League. I have served as a Board Member of the Junto of Indianapolis, and I have served on the Board of the Indianapolis Bar Association. My family and I regularly support numerous local causes and charities, and we founded the Caress Family Foundation in 2011 in an effort to further help children in need.
More than anything, I really hope and strive to have a positive impact – on my family, on my community, on my clients. As a lawyer, I want nothing more than to be known as fair, honest and tireless advocate, and I simply do my level best to help my clients achieve the fair and right result for their situations.
s an attorney at Caress Law Group, Lance Worland dedicates his entire practice to assisting individuals who have been injured by the negligence of others. Lance gained first-hand and invaluable experience advocating for injured persons while clerking throughout law school at an Indianapolis personal injury and medical malpractice law firm. He knew right away that he wanted to shape his career around this area of law, and he has not looked back since. This is the only area of law that Lance has ever practiced – and he dedicates 100% of his focus to helping people who have been injured.

Lance is proud to be a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyer Association’s Young Lawyers Executive Board.
